Today, I’m diving into a topic that has genuinely sparked a transformation in my life – Vision Boards. These magical boards are more than just a collection of images; they are a powerful tool for manifestation and achieving your dreams. In this post, I’ll share the positive aspects of creating a vision board and guide you on how to make one. Let’s embark on this exciting journey together!

The power of the vision board

What’s a vision board and why it works

A vision board is a visual representation of your aspirations and dreams. It’s a collage of images, quotes, and symbols that represent your goals and desires, short, middle or long term. The power of a vision board lies in its ability to keep your dreams visible and your mind focused on them. It leverages the law of attraction, drawing your goals closer to reality.

1. Clarity in your goals

Creating a vision board requires you to reflect on what you genuinely desire in life, be it career success, personal growth, or relationships. This process brings clarity and solidifies your intentions.

2. Daily dose of inspiration

Your board serves as a daily source of motivation. Seeing your goals every day keeps you inspired and reminds you of what you’re working towards.

3. The power of visualization

Visualization is a powerful tool for manifestation. By visualizing your goals, you subconsciously align your actions towards achieving them. The vision board acts as a constant visual cue, reinforcing your aspirations.

4. Boosts your creativity

Designing your vision board is a creative process. It allows you to express your desires in a fun and artistic way, enhancing your creativity and imagination. Ususally I match my vision board with my New Year’s resolutions, that you can read on my dedicated blog post.

Creating a physical vision board

Materials You’ll Need:

  • A board (like a bulletin board or large paper)
  • Magazines, photos, or printed images
  • Quotes, affirmations, and inspiring words
  • Scissors, glue, and any other decorative items

Steps to create your vision board:

  1. Reflect and set your intentions: take some time to think about what you want to achieve. What are your goals for the next year or five years?
  2. Gather your materials: collect magazines, printouts, and any other materials that inspire you.
  3. Cut and arrange: cut out the images and words that resonate with your goals. Arrange them on your board in a way that feels right to you.
  4. Glue everything in place: once you’re happy with the arrangement, glue everything onto the board.
  5. Add personal touches: feel free to add any additional elements like drawings, stickers, or personal notes.
  6. Display your vision board: place it somewhere you’ll see it daily, like your bedroom or office.

How to create a digital one

If you are more digital, I also use Pinterest to create my vision board, you have access to a BIG pictures data base and you can organise your pins as you want. I use Pinterest mainly for seasonal boards, for mid or long term I prefer making it physically, and that’s the opportunity to stop the screens an afternoon.

Tips for an effective board:

  • Be specific: the more specific your images and words are, the better.
  • Keep it positive: focus on positive affirmations and images that uplift you.
  • Update regularly: as your goals evolve, feel free to update your board.

Creating a vision board can be a life-changing experience. It’s a simple yet powerful tool that brings clarity, motivation, and focus to your life goals. By visualizing your dreams daily, you set the stage for them to manifest into reality. So, why not give it a try? Your dreams are waiting to be visualized!
